Scottish Schools Combined Events Champs 4th June

Whitemoss Amateur Athletics Club again showed the depth of talent in Combined Events when 5 of their CE athletes brought home silverware and medals at the recent Scottish Schools CE Championships on Sat 4th June at Grangemouth Athletics Stadium.

Coach Iain McEwan’s training squad were all in the prizes with the U20 Mens title going to Howard Bell, U17 Boys was won for the 2nd year in a row by Scott Connal and Holly McArthur also U17 rewrote a record set in 1971 winning her age group by a clear 424 points with a new championship record score of 3713.

Coach Alan Forbes Training Squad also performed well throughout the day, with 5 athletes taking part, unfortunately Shannon McInally and Ella Bryce had to withdraw due to injury but Christie MckSkimming was 5th in her age group, Kirsty Craig, 6th in hers and Kyle Mcaulay took the silver medal in the U14 boys category with a final points score of 2047.
